Pekan Pertama 2021 dan Kesedihan yang Harus Dilewati

Empat hari setelah jatuhnya Sriwijaya Air 182, Presiden Jokowi menerima suntikan dosis pertama vaksin covid 19 Sinovac. Kemudian beberapa hari sebelumnya juga Presiden Jokowi menunjuk Komjen Listyo Sigit Prabowo sebagai calon tunggal Kapolri.

Di wilayah Regional NTT, terdengar kabar bahwa Gubernur NTT, Viktor B. Laiskodat terkonfirmasi positif covid 19 setelah sebelumnya diberitakan Bapak Wagub NTT Yosef Naisoi mengalami hal yang serupa.

Itulah beberapa peristiwa yang terjadi di pekan pertama tahun 2021. Isi dari peristiwa tersebut memunculkan beragam refleksi dari kita sebagai warga negara. Di tengah hiruk pikuk peristiwa harian masing-masing, kita seolah-olah dibenturkan oleh peristiwa besar yang menyedot perhatian. Kita pun berhenti sejenak.

Menarik nafas dan menghela kembali setiap tarikannya sembari memikirkan hari-hari esok dalam kalender 2021 yang masih panjang ini.

Maut dan Kehilangan

62 orang yang meninggal akibat jatuhnya pesawat Sriwijaya tentu menciptakan pilu di hati kita masing-masing.Para keluarga yang kehilangan orang-orang terkasihnya: suami yang kehilangan istri dan anak-anaknya, ibu yang kehilangan anak atau suaminya, anak-anak yang kehilangan ayah atau ibunya.

Maut tak pernah dapat diprediksi. Ia memiliki kalkulasinya sendiri yang jauh dari jangkauan dugaan ilmiah manusia. Ia hadir begitu saja; keras, jahat, dan mematikan. Apakah maut mesti inheren dengan kehidupan manusia? Mampukah teknologi mengatasinya? Suntikan dosis pertama Sinovac kepada Presiden Jokowi menandai optimisme akan pulihnya kehidupan setelah dibelenggu pandemi covid 19.

Terbitlah Optimisme

Lembaga pemerintah seperti BPOM dan MUI pun mengkonfirmasi tingkat efikasi (kemanjuran) dari vaksin buatan China ini yang mencapai angka 65,3 %. Kiranya dengan vaksin ini, tingkat imunitas manusia semain tinggi sehingga terhindar dari serangan virus covid 19.

Hidup terus berjalan dengan cerita yang berada di luar desain kita. Kesedihan tak bisa dielak tapi harapan akan hari esok yang lebih baik mengangkat hati yang pilu. Kita tidak pernah lupa bahwa di pekan pertama tahun 2021, kita pernah begitu sedih dan pernah juga mengalami optimisme akan hari-hari yang lebih baik. *

Today we have just riding around Labuan Bajo town center. Since two weeks ago there was no rain, thus it feels now hotter than before.
