Mengapa Healthy Bragging Penting?

Pada saat kamu memasuki dunia kerja, kamu perlu memiliki skill agar bisa membantu efektivitas dan kinerja suatu perusahaan. Skill ada yang berupa kemampuan personal (soft skill) dan hard skill yang didapatkan dari pendidikan formal, pelatihan, sertifikasi, workshop, dll. 

Dua macam kemampuan ini merupakan modal kamu untuk meraih peluang dalam persaingan mendapatkan pekerjaan. Namun demikian, skill yang kamu miliki itu harus diaktualisasikan. 
 

Ada beragam cara kamu menyalurkan kemampuan atau skill: bisa dalam bentuk tulisan, lewat media komunikasi lisan, dan lewat keterlibatanmu dalam menyelesaikan proyek tertentu. 

Melalui media yang disebutkan ini, kamu membuktikan bahwa skill yang dimiliki dapat teraktualisasi dalam bentuk kerja tertentu. Potensi kamu pun dikenal oleh orang lain dan terbukti dapat menyelesaikan kerja tertentu.

Lalu apa hubungan aktualisasi skill dengan healthy bragging? Mari kita lihat arti kata Brag. Brag artinya membual atau berlagak. Dalam konotasi tertentu kata ini mengacu pada kebiasaan pamer kemampuan, sok tahu, dan sombong. 

Nah, Healthy bragging merupakan kemampuan untuk mengaktualisasikan potensi diri tanpa terlihat sombong atau sok pamer. Tentu saja tidak sedikit orang tidak suka pada orang-orang yang suka membual dan sok pamer. 

Akan tetapi dalam konteks persaingan kerja, healthy bragging sangat dibutuhkan agar orang mengenal skill dan potensi yang kamu miliki. Healthy bragging sangat penting tatkala kamu dituntut untuk menampilkan skill yang kamu miliki secara positif. 

Pertanyaan reflektifnya adalah bagaimana mungkin orang mengenal skill kamu jika kamu tidak 'sok pamer' di hadapan orang lain? Sok pamer sehat ini sangat diperlukan dan membuat kamu berhasil jika didukung oleh skill kamu yang teruji.

Labuan Bajo in Frames: A Recent Quick Report in the Town Center

Today we have just riding around Labuan Bajo town center. Since two weeks ago there was no rain, thus it feels now hotter than before.  Though, people still in their work under the sun, seems enjoying their daily activity all time. Proud of them! This year, dry season longer than last year. By this month last year, it was the beginning of rainy season. This might be affected by the climate changes which caused by the land fire and forest fire and other natural disasters.
